Dear family and friends,
We just wanted to share a few things quickly that are exciting but also need prayer! First, Peter and I will be heading back tomorrow from our first half of furlough on the East Coast. It was truly a blessed time, and we give God thanks for His provision. Thank you to all our churches, supporters, and friends and family who took the time to see us and share their lives with us, as we also were able to share with them. The West Coast will be some time next year. Please pray for safe travels tomorrow, as we will arrive at 7:00 a.m. Sunday morning and hurry back home to get ready for church.
Speaking of church, many of you have been praying along with us for a new location, therefore, we are excited to announce that God has opened some doors at this point, and this Sunday we will be starting in a new location! It has been a whirlwind of decisions as we have had to decide from the States about this new place, which is close to our old one. In faith, we will do a trial run and see how it goes! Pray that another floor in this building will open up for kids classes. Right now, it is just one bigger floor. We also will be celebrating 6 years of the church plant, and of course, happy Father's day!
We are thankful for Alejandro and Christa Robles who filled in for us while we were away. They are now in the States for furlough and seeking God's direction for their next steps in missions. We are also thankful for our teammates, Heidi and Marissa, who have endlessly given their efforts to send pictures and videos of the new building and analyze the situation with the church, keep our house afloat, and care for Max. Marissa had to leave the country last week as she has now served 4 out of her 6 months given for the year. She will be back at the end of the year, after she serves with ABWE missionaries in Argentina and Chile.
Some final things are that when we get back, we will continue to work on our house, and I am in the process of changing my name to Hudson on the Colombia side, which has created some confusion. Please pray that things will work out!
Attached are some pictures of the new church location. We thank you again for everything!
For His Kingdom,
Jamie, Peter, & Max
